The problem this free spreadsheet software solves
Spreadsheets show up early in school: a class survey, a science experiment, a household budget. Not every family wants to buy an office suite, and not every student needs hundreds of features. AICKO TABLEUR keeps the essentials of a spreadsheet and removes the clutter.
What AICKO TABLEUR offers
- Formulas and functions such as sums, averages, conditions and lookups.
- Cell formatting: borders, colors, number, currency and date formats, merged cells.
- Sorting, filters and several sheets in one workbook.
- Charts: histograms, lines and pie charts, created in a few clicks.
- Open and save .xlsx and .xls files, plus .ods and .csv. Export to PDF.
- Templates: family budget, invoice, pay slip, grade sheet, income and expense log.
- A ribbon like on a desktop program, dark mode and several interface colors.
The default save format is .xlsx, which opens in most other spreadsheet programs. There is no subscription, no account and no need for an internet connection.
Who it is for
- Students who collect data in science class and need a chart for a report.
- Math students who want to test a formula on a column of numbers.
- Teachers who keep grades and compute averages with coefficients.
- Families, freelancers and accountants who need a clear table.
A typical use: a class measures the length of a spring under different weights, types the numbers in two columns, and plots the points to see the pattern. A teacher enters marks, applies coefficients, and sorts the list in seconds. The same workbook can be exported to PDF for printing or saved as .xlsx to share. Because the program is simple, a beginner finds the main tools without reading a manual.
Getting started
- Download AICKO TABLEUR for Windows 10 or 11 using the button on this page.
- Choose French or English in the settings.
- Open a template or an Excel file, or start a new workbook.
- Type your data and build formulas in the cells.
- Select the data, insert a chart, then save as .xlsx or export to PDF.
The function names are in French, so a formula such as the one for a sum or an average uses the French word. Keep that in mind when you share workbooks with English-speaking classmates.
How it supports math study
A spreadsheet is one of the best ways to see a function. Fill a column with x values, compute y in the next one, and draw the graph. Try it with the linear equations on our Algebra 1 math pages, or compute a mean and a median from real data for a statistics unit. Our math lessons explain each idea, and the math glossary defines the vocabulary.
